Painting with Carpet Knots

What may seem like a simple image at first glance is, for me, the beginning of a journey.
a journey where thread and knot are transformed into light and color.
It is the path of storytelling, the process of creating something timeless.

Through years of experience, I have trained my eyes to perceive the subtle language of fiber and color. Without the aid of any digital tools, I can identify the full spectrum of colors within an image and hand dye raw threads to match them precisely. These colors are not just visual imitations. they reflect my emotional and intuitive connection to the image. Each hue must sink deep into the core of the thread.
This process can involve hundreds of shades, all carefully blended and fixed by hand.

Once the colors are ready, the weaving begins. Without any pre-designed carpet pattern or digital grid, I rely solely on my trained perception and direct observation.
Every knot becomes part of the image. Knot by knot, I recreate the picture not by following a map, but by following my understanding of what I see until a one-of-a-kind woven artwork is born.
Not merely a carpet, but a living work of art.
